DOWNTOWN: the old village of Hyeres

hyeres006b.jpg

Hyères, "the city of palm trees", was once the favorite summer resort of celebrities, and the intellectual elite.
The magnificent homes that they built near the old city in the beginning of the century are still there.
You will enjoy walking in the narrow streets of the old city, admiring the architecture of the houses and old churches, shopping at the famous open market in the morning and dining in some of the finest restaurants of the region.

THE ISLANDS: Port Cros and Porquerolles

Porquerolles

One of the beautiful islands facing the port of Hyeres that you can see from the apartment and accessible by a 10 minute ferry boat ride 2 km from the marina.. You will love visiting this island, walking or biking as cars are forbidden, and sun bathing on magnificent beaches with crystal clear water.
