Quimper is a little village in Brittany France where, for generation, the most famous faience has been made and is still
made today. It gave its name to the faience. Every piece of Quimper is handpainted making it unique. it is signed usually
at the bottom of the item. you have to be careful with copies of Quimper that you may find on auctions sites where the items
are signed but with fake signature.
